Armor in Iron Soul: Dungeon is forged the same way as weapons — load ores into the forge and craft. The difference is the ore cost per piece, which is listed below.
Armor ore costs
The base ore cost per armor piece:
- Light Helmet — 3 ore
- Light Breastplate — 10 ore
- Heavy Helmet — 15 ore
- Heavy Breastplate — 22 ore
How armor stats are decided
Three things shape the finished armor:
- Ore multiplier — the base stats of the armor. The higher the multiplier, the better, and the multiplier grows with the ore's level.
- Crafting pool — mixing ore types widens the pool and makes the result less predictable. Single-type forging is the safe route.
- Rarity — rarity doesn't change base stats, but rarer (mythic) armor carries sub-stats. To craft mythic armor, at least half of your ore must be mythic.
