How to get mythic ore
All ore is obtained from dungeon drops, and the higher the level, the deeper or harder the dungeon you need. Mythic ore is intentionally scarce:
- Run dungeons — every ore comes from dungeon drops; high-level mythic ore needs high-level dungeons.
- Hell mode — Witherite, Rotten Lotus, and other hell ores require hell mode.
- Be patient — sources of mythic ore are described by the community wiki as "few and far between."
Mythic rarity rule
To craft mythic gear, at least half of the ore you feed the forge must be mythic. Mixing in lower-grade ores drops the result quality. The forge mini-game can only lower quality, never raise it.
