Once you have a pet in Iron Soul: Dungeon, you can upgrade it through the Enhance and Ascend systems at Ali's pet stall.
Where to upgrade your pet
Open the pet menu at Ali, the pet NPC at the stall next to the Dragon's Grave entrance, and choose "Pet enhance and ascend".
Enhance (base stat boosts)
Enhance raises your pet's base stats and never fails.
- Materials: items gathered from the Abandoned Courtyard cave (for example, Broken Scales) plus gold.
- Enter the Abandoned Courtyard with a Cave Ticket to farm the materials.
Ascend (the big upgrade)
Ascend is the larger upgrade tier that unlocks after Enhance levels.
- Cost: one pet is consumed to upgrade another — you trade a pet to make your main one significantly stronger.
