Pets in Iron Soul: Dungeon run expeditions and enhance your equipment for you — they're a real progression boost, so you want one early. Here's where to get pets and what each route requires.
Route 1: Expeditions
The most common source of pets is the expedition system. Send a spare pet out to gather gold, and it occasionally brings back a pet egg — which can hatch into any pet at random.
- Requirement: you need at least one pet to start sending (see Route 2 to get your first), then patience — eggs are a small chance.
Route 2: Cinder's quest line (free egg)
Look for Cinder, standing beside the Forge. Completing the Enhance equipment quest line gets you an Ice Dragon's Egg, which you take to Ali at the pet stall (next to the Dragon's Grave entrance) to hatch.
- Requirement: progress the Enhance equipment quest line.
Route 3: The paid pack
There is also a pay-to-win pet, the Phoenix Kitsune, available for 1,299 Robux. You don't need it — the free routes get you pets too, just slower.
